May 15 - June 15 is National Tourette Syndrome Awareness Month

Please take advantage of TS Awareness month to proactively engage members of your community in a dialog that fosters awareness and dispels prevalent misconceptions about the nature of Tourette Syndrome and those that it effects.

Educator & Allied Professionals Conference in West Palm Beach

Over 400 educator's and health care professionals attended a presentation by Sue Conners and Dr. Alan Peterson at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach.  Normally a CDC event, Gary Frank from National TSA came to West Palm on a grant from the Quantum Foundation to bring Sue and Dr. Peterson to speak to an eager crowd hoping to learn more about TS.

Lake Minneola Splash Bash Car Smash

Trash-it for Tourette!

The 2009 Lake Minneola Splash Bash took place on May 17th.  The Barr family hosted an information booth and raised money by taking donations in exchange for an opportunity to smash a car with a sledghammer.  Two donated cars were labeled "Clermont" and "Minneola" offering local residents an opprtunity to bash their respective, rival towns.
